The Department of Orthopedic Surgery was established at Fazaia Ruth Pfau Medical College PAF base Faisal and PAF Base Masroor Hospital, in August 2019. The department is providing patient care and undergraduate education. Patient care is being provided for Orthopedic Trauma, Fractures, Bone Tumors, Limb Length Discrepancies Correction, Non-Union Treatment, Arthroplasties, Pediatric Orthopedics, Hand and Upper Limb Surgery, Arthroscopy, Foot and Ankle Surgery. The educational services are provided for under graduate medical students of MBBS. Orthopedic Surgery facility located at PAF base Faisal and Masroor is well equipped with wards and Operation theaters, latest orthopedic surgery instruments and implants. The mission statements of the department are to, to provide highest quality Musculoskeletal care centered on evidence-based medicine to diverse group of patients and to produce research-oriented doctors capable of assessing diagnosing and giving appropriate management of orthopedic and trauma patients.
