The ENT (Otolaryngology) Department at Fazaia Ruth Pfau Medical college encompasses both the teaching faculty as well as its associated hospitals at PAF base Faisal and Masroor. A wide range of facilities are available including routine outpatient assessment, fiberoptic endoscopy of nose and throat, pure tone audiometry, impedance audiometry and brainstem evoked response audiometry. The department provides care to patients admitted with ENT emergencies and also performs routine minor and major procedures like tonsillectomy, septoplasty, tympanoplasty, etc. A fully equipped endoscopic sinus surgery theatre is functional where routine as well as advanced endoscopic procedures like FESS are performed. The faculty at FRPMC is dedicated in teaching as well as care of patients and always striving to continuously bring improvements and advancements in ENT. A dedicated timetable for research and learning is the hallmark of ENT department with emphasis on new areas of research and faculty growth and development.
