Eligibility Criteria
Open Merit
- Pakistani citizens (including AJK and Gilgit-Baltistan) can apply for admission in all above mentioned colleges on
open merit seats.
- Passing MDCAT (NUMS-2023) held on Sunday, 03rd September 2023 is mandatory. Pass percentage of MDCAT
(NUMS) is 55% for admission in MBBS program and 50% BDS program.
- Minimum 60% aggregate marks in FSc (Pre-Medical) or equivalent having minimum twelve (12) years of education
in atleast three (03) subjects i.e. Biology, Chemistry, and either Physics or Mathematics.
Foreign Seats
- Foreign student is a student who holds Foreign/Dual Nationality or is an Overseas Pakistani and who has studied
and passed HSSC/12th grade examination or equivalent from outside Pakistan and possess a certificate from the
institution last attended to this effect.
- Eligibility criteria for Admission in Private Sector Medical & Dental Colleges for Foreign candidates against foreign
seat, is the same as mentioned above in para 1(c) in addition to MDCAT (NUMS-2023) held on 3rd September
2023/valid MDCAT (USA) / valid UCAT (UK).
Note:
Provided that the mandatory requirement of MDCAT shall not apply to students seeking admission on a
special program seat predefined exclusively for foreign students and on the seats reserved for overseas Pakistanis.
Such students shall qualify foreign MDCAT examination or UCAT
