Welcome you to Postgraduate program in Anesthesiology at Fazaia Ruth Pfau Medical College (FRPMC), PAF Base; Faisal, Karachi. Our goal is to contribute towards the nation development and beyond, through quality education and training. Department of Anesthesiology will lead the evolution of perioperative care through advances in the care of patients with acute and chronic illnesses, and state of the art education of medical students, residents and fellows through integrated approaches to the care of patients from the time of surgical diagnosis to discharge from medical care. The department will advance the science of perioperative medicine including anesthesia, pain and critical care; improving efficiency, safety and perioperative experience of our patients while reducing costs, complication rates and hospital lengths of stay. Our mission is: “To provide safe and highest quality services of anesthesiology, pain and critical care to all surgical & obstetric patients and to train healthcare professionals/specialists with the latest techniques and research in the field of Anesthesiology, Pain medicine and critical care.”
