The department of Physiology forms the foundation of basic medical sciences. It focuses the frame work of cells, organs and systems, to implement strong foundation of the knowledge of physiology for better understanding the pathophysiology of disease, its diagnosis and management. It is our goal to combine a wide spectrum of research expertise and experimental techniques in order to foster an ideal training program for the advancement of knowledge in human physiology. For its implementation, the students will have an access to spacious & fully air conditioned Physiology laboratory outfitted with modern audio-visual equipments and latest teaching aids used for educational purpose & for techniques in electrophysiology, microscopy, hematology, general physiology, clinical physiology equipped for examining human subjects, such as ECG, spirometer, powerlab, ergometer, perimeter and other areas. Students will be guided by a team of dedicated faculty members with excellent teaching resources. The sessions will be a mix of both theoretical & practical training so that students can have a deeper understanding of not only basics but also the applied physiology.
